 Raging Bull (1980)
IMDB rating: 8.40
Plot: When Jake LaMotta steps into a boxing ring and obliterates his opponent, he’s a prizefighter. But when he treats his family and friends the same way, he’s a ticking time bomb, ready to go off at any moment. Though LaMotta wants his family’s love, something always seems to come between them. Perhaps it’s his violent bouts of paranoia and jealousy. This kind of rage helped make him a champ, but in real life, he winds up in the ring alone.

Isaiah 53 & Psalm 22: Are these prophetic Scriptures about Jesus laying down His life to atone for our sins?
Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. 4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. 9 And they made His grave with the wicked– But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth. 10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.
Psalms 22:7 All those who see Me ridicule Me; They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, 8 "He trusted in the LORD, let Him rescue Him; Let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him!" 9 But You are He who took Me out of the womb; You made Me trust while on My mother’s breasts. 10 I was cast upon You from birth. From My mother’s womb You have been My God. 11 Be not far from Me, For trouble is near; For there is none to help. 12 Many bulls have surrounded Me; Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled Me. 13 They gape at Me with their mouths, Like a raging and roaring lion. 14 I am poured out like water, And all My bones are out of joint; My heart is like wax; It has melted within Me. 15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, And My tongue clings to My jaws; You have brought Me to the dust of death. 16 For dogs have surrounded Me; The congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me. They pierced My hands and My feet; 17 I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me. 18 They divide My garments among them, And for My clothing they cast lots.
17. For dogs have surrounded me; a band of evildoers has encompassed me, like a lion, my hands and feet. ??.
Did you know that in the Septuagint the Hebrew is translated into Greek as "pierced" which is very similar to the Hebrew word for Lion? Certain members of Jews for Jesus have pointed out that the Masoretic texts translated after Jesus left the earth have been mistranslated when it comes to verses that have to do with Jesus being the Messiah. http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/masoret e.htm
Yes, it is incredible the way God has ordained certain words to have more than one meaning in the Hebrew language because of the way the words are built from a root word.
In His wisdom and plan to bless all nations through Israel, it was necessary that the meaning of these prophecies etc be "hidden" from many of His chosen people at first. How is this possible when His people know the scripture so well?
It seems He used the multiple meanings in words to do it. Its like these prophecies have two or more messages hidden in the different possible meanings of words. – Of course to do this, God would have to be astoundingly genius and loving, carefully working in everything knowing ahead the beginning to the end – which of course He is and has.
What is said in Christian bibles to be "horrible mistranslation" is in fact -based on Jewish word- a possible (but unlikely) translation.
Isn’t our God amazing? All Glory to HIM!!!

No.
Isaiah 53 is talking about the nation of Israel.
Psalms 22 was horribly mistranslated by Christian translators.
Neither have anything to do concerning a Jesus.
Here is Psalms 22 17-21 [Note how different your version is]
17. For dogs have surrounded me; a band of evildoers has encompassed me, like a lion, my hands and feet. ??.
18. I tell about all my bones. They look and gloat over me. ??.
19. They share my garments among themselves and cast lots for my raiment. ??.
20. But You, O Lord, do not distance Yourself; my strength, hasten to my assistance. ?.
21. Save my soul from the sword, my only one from the grip of the dog.
Obviously the Christian version is corrupt.

Yes, absolutely. All the prophecies were fulfilled in the last few chapters of each gospel.
